After the interview, you still have to fill out a standard application form, which includes the question “Are you able to accept having surveillance equipment in the office?” Seeing this made me feel that the company does not trust its employees. There is a written test involving translating an email from Chinese into English; the content is fairly simple. The impression from the interview with the boss was okay, but they seemed somewhat arrogant. The office looked quite small, and everyone seemed to be under a lot of pressure.
A standard interview
After verbally offering me the position during the interview, the manager said they would respond in three days. The company manager agreed and asked me to contact them directly via the job-seeking website.
On the third day, I emailed and called the manager to accept the offer, but received no response. I emailed and called again the next day, but still could not reach them.
It was not until the following week that they replied, saying the position had been filled by someone else.
Although the company may have had other considerations, my personal impression is that it was highly irresponsible and completely lacking in integrity toward job seekers.
There is no such thing.
The company is extremely absurd, with no systems or structure whatsoever.
The company is small, the office is tiny, and management is entirely based on personal discretion, so many unreasonable things happen. The salary agreed upon during the interview was actually different from the real salary, and I only found out when my first month's pay was deposited.... Helping handle the boss's personal matters often doesn't come with overtime pay.
