Pros

The boss occasionally pays for a bit of the meal expenses.

Cons

Overtime has become the norm, while the pay is low and there is a lot of work. Although company policy states that the lunch break starts at 12:30 p.m., most people only get ready to eat at 1 p.m., leaving virtually no time for a lunch break. The workday ends at 6:30 p.m., but if you want to leave at 7:30, your colleagues will still look displeased. The worst part is that on an employee’s last day, the boss apparently said something while that employee was away. When the employee returned to the office after the lunch break, they were met with cold looks from their colleagues. At the end of the workday, accounting informed the employee that they had been fired. If you want someone to leave, you don’t have to humiliate them like that! The Labor Standards Act stipulates that overtime pay must be provided for working just half an hour of overtime, but the company requires one full hour before granting overtime pay, and it must also be applied for. I really cannot recommend this kind of sweatshop company.

Pros

The company felt very small and cramped.

Cons

The person who interviewed me was the boss, and they seemed quite capable and sharp.

However, I had written above that I was applying for a marketing planner position, but in the end, they wanted me to do marketing-related work.

They even brought up the internal assistance with graphic design and LINE@ mentioned in the 1111 interview review.

It feels like they are using a marketing planner opening to look for a marketing sales position. If you want to hone your graphic design skills or marketing communication skills, you could give it a try~
