You only get one Saturday off each month; in principle, you have to work every other Saturday. As if having only one day off per week weren't enough.
The business manager will pressure you to use your leave and work overtime. Even during long holidays, they will use unfinished work as a reason to ask you to come in for a day of overtime. If you don't come in, they will criticize you. What company ever finishes all its work? If it did, wouldn't everyone have to stop taking holidays?
The development manager basically talks more than they act. They are extremely good at criticizing others, but when they make a mistake themselves, they simply brush it off.
There is insufficient staffing. If work is done poorly or cannot be finished, it is definitely treated as your own problem. They only tell you to work overtime and will not help share the workload.
In short, this is a company with very traditional attitudes from top to bottom. They expect you to endure hardship and work diligently, yet can only offer you a salary that barely keeps you from starving.
Moreover, they do not provide pay slips (I consider this a drawback), and the year-end bonus is not fixed—it depends on whether the boss feels like giving it. Think carefully before joining.
