This page collects workplace experiences, questions and discussions submitted by users. Dates shown are submission dates, not periods of employment. Individual reports do not describe the entire company.
Read the community guidelinesBecause there are too many companies with the same name, it is unclear which Fudat this is. I am currently referring to a printing company in Zhubei, Hsinchu.
Flexible working hours, self-selected lunch, and the company pays for labor and health insurance.
1. A small company with absolutely no systems; the rules are decided by the boss and the boss’s wife. It is a family business.
2. It operates under a responsibility-based system: you can only leave after finishing your work, otherwise they will give you dirty looks the next day.
3. If you have opinions about the company’s systems, they will say that you are overthinking things and that everyone should be like family, but they will not make any improvements.
4. The boss is overly ambitious and does not know his own limits. After taking on major clients, he neither updates the equipment nor hires more people. The employees work themselves to death, while the boss and his wife receive all the clients’ thanks.
5. When the boss has nothing to do, he sits nearby scrolling on his phone; as soon as things get busy, he rushes around shouting.
6. The boss’s wife merely bears the title of “boss’s wife.” She pushes her own responsibilities onto employees, has an extremely poor memory, does not look at or record things, and employee reminders are useless. She issues orders recklessly, and whenever problems arise, all she can say is “I don’t know,” shirking responsibility. When dealing with difficult customers, she tells employees to swallow their grievances. She often says that everyone should help one another, but the help is always for her, as if only her work counts as work.
7. There is a long-term post-processing employee inside who has a very close relationship with the boss’s wife. They are extremely thin-skinned and can easily be offended accidentally. They often complain about other people to the boss’s wife and are a textbook backstabber who likes to stab people in the back.
8. The boss’s wife believes that receiving customers at the storefront, organizing the environment, purchasing the company’s daily necessities, and cleaning the toilets are all things women should do.
9. The boss is a typical person who constantly changes his orders. In the morning he says how things should be done, then overturns it in the afternoon and scolds employees for not doing things his way. He also has an extremely poor memory.
10. He scolds employees and engages in personal attacks.
11. If they are dissatisfied with you as an employee, they will either scold you or stop assigning work to you, freezing you out until you are forced to resign.
There is much more that could be said. In short, since things above are already this terrible, the situation below is unlikely to be any better. I advise anyone thinking of interviewing for a job at this company to think twice before proceeding.
