This is a company that forces employees to work overtime. Time spent at the company exceeds 12 hours. If you want to stop working overtime, they will tell you that the company requires it. The supervisor has a very poor attitude, the base salary and benefits are very low, the environment is dirty and disorderly, work is distributed unevenly, and they often issue disciplinary notices and deduct bonuses. If there is not enough to deduct, they deduct the year-end bonus. The company’s systems are very poor. There are no senior employees, only senior supervisors. As long as you are Taiwanese, you will almost certainly not stay long.

I applied for an international sales position, yet was treated like a personal assistant! The manager did nothing but constantly order me around to help organize lunch boxes, make tea, and take out the trash, while berating people all day long—even daring to berate higher-level managers. She has no substance or class whatsoever. At one point, she even called me into a small room to lecture me, simply because I wrote my notes in English and she couldn’t understand them. She would always go to Taipei claiming she was visiting clients, but in reality she was going there to sing with clients, making everything seem extremely unprofessional. In short, the entire sales department is full of people with no substance.

Various forms of exploitation: they expect you to do a manager’s work and take on a manager’s responsibilities, but give you neither a manager’s allowance nor the title. The yield rate of everything is very low, so you’re constantly required to conduct 100% inspections. They also insist that you respond to company messages during your time off, without counting it as overtime.

I applied for an overseas sales position, but ended up as a domestic sales assistant. I was also expected to pour tea, order boxed lunches, and help my supervisors collect the packages they had bought online. Even when only two clients came, they made me drive to buy 13 Starbucks drinks, most of which were for coworkers. They completely disrespected my professional expertise. After I posted a review on Google, they even sent me a notarized letter. This is absolutely a traditional industry!!! The entire sales team is made up of women, and it is basically a group of sales assistants. The managers also all act like hostesses, making the job utterly speechless. We were also required to write daily work reports, which was completely idiotic.

I interviewed for a business assistant position. From the beginning, including filling out the information and completing the interview with HR, it took about 20–30 minutes. I then waited a full three hours for the department manager’s interview. I felt extremely disrespected. When she came to the interview, she did not appear sorry for making the interviewee wait so long. She arrogantly asked why I had left my previous job and then immediately ended the interview; the interview only lasted about five minutes in total. We are all human and are simply looking for a job to make a living. I sincerely hope that the female department manager with a ponytail and black-rimmed glasses will stop treating every hardworking interviewee this way.

Several people were interviewed at once, all sitting in the same room filling out information.
There were questions such as personality tests.
During the interview, I stated that I already had three years of overseas sales experience, but the interviewer only offered a salary of 26,000.
They also said that my previous work experience was different from the company’s type of business, and that offering 26K was already very high.
When I asked about the frequency of overtime, they only said, “Of course you have to finish your work before you can leave.”
It seemed there was no overtime pay either??
A listed company can only afford to offer a salary fit for a monkey.
