Pros

There are still people at the company and factory who are very willing to provide support, but they still cannot overcome the authority of the management department.

Cons

The boss is a very nice person, but the management department is frightening. The management department's decisions take precedence over the boss's decisions. If you offend the management department, just wait to be given a hard time at every turn!

Pros

None

Cons

1. Whenever a product error occurs, everyone involved has to pay compensation (the factory operations department bears no responsibility whatsoever)

2. There are countless routine meetings every day (with no focus, and they cut into working hours; overtime is unpaid)

3. Under no circumstances should you be late for work

4. You can imagine all kinds of products beginning with the character “監”

Pros

There is a newly opened pharmacy nearby, so you can walk there during your lunch break to buy things.

Cons

The boss likes to use reasons such as learning a second specialty and increasing your own salary to ask people to do work they have no interest in doing. It appears there is room for discussion, but in fact there is not.

When customers report quality issues, before the cause has even been clarified, the factory operations department will first jump in and say that there is no problem with the factory (we handle export orders, use the best machines, have senior Taiwanese technicians and senior quality inspectors, produce exactly according to the orders, the customer's standards are inconsistent, etc.). Once it is confirmed that the issue was caused by the factory, the salaries of the personnel involved in handling it will be deducted, but the factory operations department does not have to take responsibility for inadequate supervision.

I initially applied for a design position, but because the design department was fully staffed, the boss used various reasons to persuade me to switch to a sales position. Since I did not have sufficient relevant experience, I asked to have someone guide me, but in practice it became a direct handover of duties with the previous employee.

During my first week, I reported to HR that I was having difficulty adjusting and wanted to transfer to another position, but was told that I had to discuss it with the boss myself. I received the same response when I raised the matter with the departing employee and the sales team leader. Therefore, in the second week, I discussed the transfer with the boss. At the time, the boss said arrangements would be made, but I saw no related vacancy opened for recruitment or personnel arrangements. It was not until the third week, when I instead submitted my resignation to the boss, that a vacancy was opened. The boss then directly announced my resignation and offered his best wishes at a sales meeting, after which HR was asked to conduct an exit interview with me. They analyzed my dissatisfaction through various questions and tried to persuade me to stay by offering conditions for other positions, to the point that they absolutely refused to let me leave unless I nodded in agreement. I was called into a conference room 15 minutes before the end of the workday and kept talking until after 8:40 p.m. My family, unable to reach me by phone and worried because I had not returned home, came directly to the company to find me, which finally interrupted the meeting. The next day, the boss even blamed me, asking why I had not informed my family in advance and saying that I should have reminded HR to do so.

Pros

Pros: It’s faster to buy it at a pharmacy.

Cons

Do not be late for work under any circumstances; pay is deducted by the “second.”

If a product is made incorrectly, the relevant personnel are charged the cost, which is deducted from their pay.

Factory-side personnel (including quality inspection staff) must hand in their mobile phones when reporting to work.

The machinery and offices on-site (except for the Sales and Quality Inspection Departments, which have a small number of cameras)

There are about 20 more surveillance cameras than people.

Computers, the network, telephones, and surveillance cameras (with audio recording) are comprehensively monitored.

A culture of having multiple people giving orders. There are two major consultants—do not provoke them, or you may lose your job.

Taking leave every Friday is strictly prohibited, except for sick leave. If you want to change jobs, take this day off.
