Applied through a digital bank, and the boss conducted the interview personally. He was extremely self-important, spending nearly two hours explaining his past achievements and how he made his fortune, while not mentioning the duties of the position at all. When I politely interrupted to ask what that had to do with the job application, he angrily replied, “Of course it’s related!” He then began criticizing the applicant’s past education and work experience.....etc. He also asked the applicant to go back, adjust their mindset, and align themselves with the boss’s way of thinking before responding. If I wasn’t a good fit, they shouldn’t have invited me to an interview in the first place. They clearly just wanted someone to listen to their speech and flatter them, which was a waste of both parties’ time. I’m very glad I didn’t end up working with someone like that.
