Read the community guidelinesIn principle, you don't need to use your brain, because whatever the manager says goes.
There are too many to list, so here’s a simple summary:
1. I applied for a permanent position, but the contract was written as a fixed-term position. When I raised the issue, there were a bunch of excuses.
2. There’s no year-end bonus or other benefits. Occasionally, there’s a few-hundred-dollar project-completion bonus; on other holidays, they give us tickets to their own amusement park. Do we look like we’re five years old?
3. The environment is terrible—the home of Mickey Mouse.
4. There are only a few people in the back office, yet even a single task has to pass through three or four layers of approval. The efficiency is awful.
5. Whatever the manager says goes. They don’t care where your professional skills lie; as long as something cheap and fast can be produced, that’s all that matters.
6. Oh, no—actually, even the store staff have a higher status than you. You have absolutely no chance to discuss or argue with them, and there are even people in the group chat who will directly ignore you ^^.
7. Low pay and lots of work. The most ridiculous part is that during a one-on-one meeting, the manager said, “Hasn’t everyone been working very little overtime lately?” As it turned out, those were the months with the most intense overtime!
8. When I tried to resign, they kept refusing and dragged it out for two months. The suggestions I made were constantly dismissed. Were they asking me just for my health status?
9. Aside from collecting a paycheck, I honestly don’t know how this company helped me grow.
There’s honestly so much more I could criticize. Fortunately, I’ve escaped. Ka-hsün.
In short, if you have a tendency to enjoy being abused, are very passive, or have no desires or expectations for life, you should definitely give it a try!
There are 10 days of leave, and there is no performance pressure.
Weekdays are relaxed; weekends are hell.
1. The base salary is only 22,000, and the rest has to be made up through performance-based pay and overtime. Overtime is calculated at only around 91 per hour. Although it can reach 30,000 during the busy season, it is still not worth it at all.
2. You have to notify the company one month in advance before resigning, regardless of how many days you have worked. This clearly violates the Labor Standards Act.
3. The working hours are unbelievably long—11 to 12 hours with no shifts; everyone works the entire shift. Do they think the on-site staff are made of steel?
4. There is no such thing as a break in between. You should be thankful if the total adds up to 30 minutes, and they even extend the working hours to 9 hours, with only the remainder calculated as overtime pay.
5. There are far too few full-time employees. I’m honestly quite impressed that this place can still operate.
