One section manager has an extremely unpleasant tone, as if they think they are some kind of gangster. They walk around acting arrogantly, are very quick to complain that others work too slowly or arrive too late, and sometimes even walk around holding a bag of cookies. Either they walk around chatting with the quality control staff, with each conversation lasting at least half an hour, or their own faction starts eating before noon while we have to wait until the noon bell rings. The same goes for leaving work: their own people are sitting in the office before 4:00, chatting, laughing, and scrolling on their phones while waiting to leave, whereas we have to work until the bell rings.
There is also someone whom the boss greatly admires who is very good at reporting on others. When they cannot finish their own work, they ask the boss to have me provide support. They criticize my work speed behind my back, while nothing they do is considered a problem, and everything I do is deemed unacceptable. The key point is that the boss strongly supports them.
In any case, if you offend either of these two people, you are basically finished. Talking to the boss is useless because the boss is extremely biased toward certain people. So do not place too much hope in what the boss says either.
