Read the community guidelines1. Headquarters rewards and disciplinary system—commendations provide employees with NT$200.
2. Every Monday and Thursday, frontline employees at the section-chief level and below clean the entire fourth-floor office area by district, cultivating employees’ habit of physical labor.
3. An old, half-finished ERP system: just entering orders, opening new files, and saving files requires waiting 30 seconds to one minute at least several times a day, making it suitable for cultivating employees’ patience.
4. The CEO often promotes that, when he works as a lecturer externally, he charges money, whereas sharing life lessons and work goals with internal employees is free of charge, hoping employees will remember this with gratitude.
5. The employee price for company products is actually the same as the store member price—equal treatment with no special discount whatsoever.
6. You can gain an in-depth understanding of family businesses and the infighting among sibling shareholders.
7. The CEO’s way of treating employees to shaved ice is to buy several bowls of frozen desserts, pour them all into a soup pot, and then ask employees to serve themselves using mugs.
8. Headquarters frequently changes policies without notice, testing frontline employees’ ability to adapt when facing their superiors.
9. Suitable for employees who love working at the company for more than 8–12 hours a day.
1. On their first day, employees must sign a probationary employment waiver stating that, during the first month, the company may require them to resign based on business needs and that employees may not make any demands. It also states that leaving without written resignation approval constitutes voluntary resignation, and the employee automatically forfeits that month’s salary.
2. The company does not issue offer letters, so the agreed salary is adjusted downward to some extent on the employee’s start date. It is presented as a one-month probationary period, but after that month, employees are verbally informed that it has been changed to a three-month probationary period.
3. On regular days off, headquarters employees support store activities without overtime pay, compensatory leave, or transportation allowances.
4. When employee salaries are adjusted, the raise is at least NT$200.
5. The headquarters’ clock-in system mini-program frequently malfunctions, resulting in manual sign-ins.
6. The headquarters’ ERP system is like an assembled vehicle; modifying data can even overwrite correct information.
7. It is unbearably hot early in the summer mornings, yet the company’s air conditioning still is not turned on until after 8:30 a.m., as usual.
8. The CEO has a strong subjective bias. Sometimes, when employees do more, he criticizes them for being meddlesome; other times, when employees do less, he changes his tune and says they lack initiative.
