Cons

I applied for an “administrative accounting” position. After I submitted my résumé, they proactively asked me to take typing tests in both Chinese and English before scheduling an interview. They then asked me to provide my most recent labor insurance withdrawal record and proof of resignation, which was all fine. The main issue was that, after I provided them, the company kept going around in circles asking me to “please confirm whether our job duties are suitable for you.” How would I know whether I’m suited to the position when I haven’t even had the interview yet? And how can suitability be something for the job seeker to assess? Shouldn’t it be evaluated by the interviewer after the interview? Finally, I lost my patience and replied, “While I’m confirming whether the job is suitable for me, the company can also assess whether my attitude—even my temper—is suitable for your company.” They then canceled the interview. Haha.
