The owner personally trained the new employee on calculating materials, but jumped back and forth between steps, making it impossible to understand the key points. When I asked about the source of the data, she became impatient toward the end. She then berated a new employee who had been on the job for less than three days. I asked the owner to have a senior full-time employee train new hires, but she was unwilling to do so. During the interview, she said that the three-month probationary period would allow time to learn gradually, but after one week, she called me in to say I was unsuitable for the job. An employer with an inadequate commitment to integrity and proper procedures.
