Read the community guidelines1. Overtime can be compensated with either “compensatory leave” or “overtime pay” at the same time. (You don’t have to choose one.)
2. If you are called in the evening and handle the matter until very late, then have to continue working the next business day just a few hours later, you can use compensatory leave to offset the time and come into the office later.
1. The (male) security guard is not very friendly.
2. Process engineers need to be on call.
3. Not every team has an equipment engineer assigned; some teams require both process and equipment engineers.
4. There is no additional allowance for being on call. (However, you can apply for overtime pay and compensatory leave.)
