Read the community guidelinesThe owner and his wife are very nice.
There is often afternoon tea.
At noon, the owner’s wife sometimes cooks for everyone herself.
The owner is too nice, so the employees take advantage of him. I heard that quite a few spouses from mainland China used to work there, but some other colleagues may have badmouthed them privately simply because they disliked them. When assistance was needed, they would avoid talking to them if possible and would even give them dirty looks. In the end, all the mainland Chinese employees resigned. Senior employees are very welcoming toward newcomers they like, but if they do not like someone, they will try to force that person out. I heard that on one occasion, they apparently needed to adjust their leave because of an urgent order, but no one was willing to come to work, and they gave various reasons on their leave forms. The owner was so angry that he said, “If the senior employees are taking leave, leave the new employees to come to work. Reject all the leave requests. Anyone who has something to deal with that day should come to work directly after taking care of it; those who do not come will have their pay deducted.” The owner apparently originally wanted to replace all the senior employees at once, but someone persuaded him to let them stay.
