Pros

You can slack off and go sleep by the riverside.

Cons

The boss is crazy and has to control everything, from eating to work matters.

Every day we have to make some idiotic reports and attend meetings without ever knowing what they are even about.

The boss only knows how to make empty promises. Every quarter, he gives out bonuses, but in reality he splits up the year-end bonus money and distributes it. He keeps saying his product is the best, yet doesn’t know that everyone outside already knows how terrible it is.

Whenever there is a problem with the product, he only blames the customer. He is always right and has no intention whatsoever of helping customers resolve their problems. The only reason he was able to start a company was because his father gave him a house to mortgage.

Pros

Very idle, because your products only ever get rejected when they go out into the market, so the employees all slack off. The boss was almost always in mainland China at that time. I often heard from the supervisor who went there with him that he kept a mistress there.

Cons

Even though the company acted as an agent for Korean products, it insisted on secretly manufacturing its own products in mainland China, and then even created a chaotic brand. Whenever the products were taken out for promotion, customers complained that they became oily. When this was reported to the boss, he just said that the customers did not know how to use them. The important thing was helping you sell them, yet the bonuses that were promised were never received at all. The boss only drew grand but empty promises for the employees. The company even made us take its self-manufactured products to negotiate with Eslite, hoping to set up a counter there. But when we went to negotiate, we were mocked, with people saying that our products were not cultural and creative goods. In addition, there were too many similar products at Eslite, so it was impossible!!!

When this was discussed with the boss, he would only say that because we had not slipped them a red envelope, they would not let us set up a counter. He always blamed others. When we suggested ways to improve the company’s products, he would not listen, and there were no bonuses either. Then, simply because I said something that displeased him, he fired me. He even deliberately took out NT$100,000 to distribute among the other two salespeople, saying it was a bonus. This company has been able to survive until now entirely because of the inheritance left by your father. You have accomplished nothing yourself, yet you think you are so impressive.
