Read the community guidelines1. Coworkers are generally pretty easy to get along with.
2. Two days off per week.
3. There’s a hot pot restaurant behind the company.
(The rating is reluctantly given as average.)
1. A stereotypical exploitative boss—more or less exactly what you would imagine.
2. No year-end bonus.
3. You have to arrive at the company ten minutes early in the morning to do morning exercises. (I left some time ago, so I’m not sure whether this is still the case.)
4. Overtime is common. If you leave on time without working overtime, you’ll be reprimanded.
5. There was a female coworker you needed to watch out for, although I don’t know whether she’s still there. (Usually, the people who constantly say they’re going to quit are the least likely to actually leave.
Unless they’re fired—but the boss doesn’t want to pay severance, so usually they wait for employees to resign voluntarily.)
* She loves complaining and grumbling. She complains about the same things almost every day, and when working with her, you’re forced to listen. If she can’t find anyone to listen to her complaints, she’ll repeatedly call people through the internal phone system. You could hear her complain about the same thing several times a day, and even after work she would message other coworkers privately to continue complaining.
* Whenever she gets upset, she keeps shouting that she’s going to quit, but she has never actually left.
* Whenever something goes wrong, she is the first to distance herself from it, saying it wasn’t her fault and was someone else’s fault.
* If a superior asks you to help her, be careful—she may dump all the work on you, and if something goes wrong, she’ll directly say it was your fault.
* She spends a very long time in the restroom every time, so don’t wait for her; just go to another floor instead.
* Company rules prohibit carrying a phone with you. She always says she’s charging it, or uses the excuse that she needs to be reachable in case her family calls to justify it,
or says that at the companies she worked for previously, it was allowed, so why isn’t it allowed here, and so on. But people repeatedly catch her secretly playing with or scrolling on her phone.
