They recklessly send out interview invitations, wasting my time and gas money and making me come all the way there for nothing. The boss was also rude.
The company itself took the initiative to send me an interview invitation for a facilities assistant position. When I arrived, because he saw that I was a woman, he told me he was looking for an accounting staff member. Since I didn’t graduate in accounting, I wasn’t who he was looking for. Excuse me? I pointed out that the position sent to me was for a facilities assistant, but he said that the job involved lifting heavy objects, so they only hire men. But the job posting only said “handling on-site affairs” and never mentioned lifting heavy objects. The accounting position didn’t say it was limited to accounting majors either, so why did I even come here?? Why the hell did you send me an interview invitation???
Later, this woman may have wanted to ease the awkwardness of my disbelief, so she said something like, “You should look for a job related to your field of study~” Excuse me, you were the one who sent me the interview invitation. “Are you unemployed?” Unemployed my ass. Does graduating from university and stopping part-time work to look for a full-time job count as being unemployed? Finally, she even said, “Ah—you live in Longjing District, so it’s not far for you to come here, right?” You actually know how to feel embarrassed too??
I knew I wasn’t going to be hired less than 10 seconds after sitting down. I left extremely angry in under two minutes. If you have time and want to train your temper, come give it a try.
