Read the community guidelinesLeaving work on time; low work intensity.
No salary adjustment for n years. Although it is a publicly listed company, previous bonuses were only enough to buy about one box of 50 masks.
I work at the Taipei office. People start and leave work on time; there is no unnecessary overtime, nor is overtime provided. The office is extremely quiet and also extremely cold. People are indifferent but don’t gossip (unless they have joined a chat group). There is a spring banquet, a Christmas party (catering and small games), gift money for the three major holidays, and high-caliber colleagues (most have advanced degrees and are intelligent). Free coffee and hot chocolate are available. It is convenient to find food near the Taipei office, but most colleagues at the Zhongli plant bring packed lunches.
Salaries have stagnated, turnover among junior employees is high, and there are many senior managers, making promotions effectively blocked. Internal conflicts within departments are intense and obvious (the senior managers’ long-standing grudges). The company atmosphere and culture are poor. Whether it is heaven or hell depends on the department.
Working hours are very fixed; by 7 p.m., no one is left at the company.
The Taipei office is very quiet, and people do not talk much. The person in charge is very emotional and concerned with trivial details. Employee turnover is very high.
