After only three days of work, I was suddenly told not to come back. They just said that I wasn't a good fit, which I found very baffling. Given my qualifications and experience, I feel it made no sense. The only reason I could think of was that I wear makeup and am fairly attractive, so perhaps the boss's wife was afraid I would seduce her husband or one of the other men and therefore asked me to leave. Most of the company's employees are men; the few women either don't make an effort with their appearance or have unkempt hair and look like ghosts.
