Many people are blatantly snobbish.
This is especially true in several departments.
HR will even openly mock and discuss scripted responses in the same work environment without any reservations.
They only respect highly educated new hires or those with name recognition.
They hold preconceived notions.
They will twist what you mean and relentlessly criticize you without the slightest courtesy.
Internal efficiency is poor.
They do not investigate the issues first.
They do not address the root problems.
Problems keep piling up as responsibility is constantly passed to different people.
They simply want cheap labor.
High employee turnover.
Overtime is routine.

Recently, the company has been going through a merger. The HR representative from the parent company scheduled an appointment, but after arriving at the Taipei office, I was unexpectedly told, "HR is on leave today." Moreover, no one seemed to know that the head office had scheduled an interview?! In the end, someone who claimed to be a "supervisor" from Hsinchu came to hold a meeting... They did not even seem to be very clear about which position the interview was for.
They only said that the Taipei office originally did not have a supervisor for this position... Because of the merger, they needed to add this person. After the interview, there was no further news.
Later, the position changed from a supervisor role to a specialist role?
