Cons

I advise everyone not to waste your time interviewing or joining their company.

Moreover, this company has poor prospects and weak business. Every day at work is gloomy and depressing, with losses year after year, so of course they are also very stingy with salaries.

Because its performance is poor, it is completely controlled by its Japanese parent company. Even ordering inventory from Japan is nerve-racking, or they resort to making minor adjustments in the accounts, fearing that Japan will discover that the stocked products are not selling. (There was even one time when they secretly resold products returned by a customer to someone else… I felt guilty about it myself.)

They are barely staying afloat by relying on a single project whose restart date is unknown. Once the project is ultimately canceled or completed, it would not be surprising if the company were shut down by its Japanese parent company.

Pros

Friendly, patient, and rational coworkers—at least they’re normal people.

Cons

The supervisor is very kind and amiable to new employees during the interview and for the first month, but after that, their true colors come out.

There are also too few staff, so you often have to handle tasks outside your own responsibilities. Then they coax and deceive you by saying that you need to learn more to improve—even if you fail to look after someone else’s work, you’ll still get scolded (for example, if the warehouse manager ships the wrong goods, the accountant gets scolded for not keeping an eye on them????? Ridiculous.)

The supervisor is extremely emotional, like a ticking time bomb, and flies into a rage at the slightest thing. They will even invade your workspace and loudly berate you right next to your ear, spitting all over your face.

If you ask them a question, they’ll think you’re stupid!

Whenever something happens, because they’re so impatient, they don’t even get the situation straight before scolding you first. Later, when they realize they were mistaken, they just apologize and brush it off.

As long as things don’t go their way, they start making sarcastic remarks to employees, such as: 1. “You don’t contribute anything to this job anyway, do you?”

2. “I’m only thinking about the company’s interests. You’re the ones who insist on doing things this way, so if something happens later, I’ll just do whatever~ Anyway, you don’t understand the pressure I’m under regarding my performance.”

3. “I teach you these things, but you’ll never learn them and you don’t understand them. What’s the point?”

Oh, right—the supervisor also loves bad-mouthing other people, prying into their privacy, gossiping, and so on.

A word of advice to anyone considering joining their company: think twice. Having nice coworkers is useless; the supervisor has scared away so many people that some leave before they’ve even been there a week~

Also, their Japanese is very poor, so they need someone with strong language skills to write reports for them and submit them to the parent company (none of this was mentioned during the interview, by the way ^ ^). But even hiring someone with JLPT N1, or even a Japanese person who speaks Chinese, is useless~ because even if you write everything perfectly for them, not only will they be unable to use it or understand it, they’ll also question whether you wrote it incorrectly. What a waste of talent.

There is insufficient staffing, so employees must take on multiple roles.
