Those applying for management positions at mainland China factories should think carefully. Working hours are from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., six days a week. If you are not accustomed to this type of working arrangement in China, you may want to reconsider. In addition, performance evaluations have no clear basis and rely entirely on on-site feedback, with requirements that your working speed keep up with production. The company provides little assistance; most matters must be handled independently. It is recommended that applicants have extensive work experience in China before applying.
