Pros

After three months on the job, the company provides a car for you to drive

Cons

The job posting clearly said Changhua, Taichung, and Nantou, but at the meeting on the first day, they said on the second day that I would have to travel to Hsinchu and Miaoli. I was extremely shocked. Having to drive like this every day is completely unacceptable to me. If that was the requirement, they should have recruited personnel for that region in the first place. They are basically deceiving people. With fewer and fewer children being born, it is difficult to do business in the infant formula industry

Pros

1. Because it is located in the Nangang Software Park, the work environment is excellent (e.g., restrooms and lounge areas).

2. At the monthly meeting held at the beginning of each month, employees can enjoy delicious boxed meals and drinks from chain stores.

3. The annual salary is guaranteed for 14 months, paid separately at the Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and before the Lunar New Year. In addition, after completing one year, employees receive profit sharing and performance bonuses.

4. My position at the time was digital marketing, but most of the work involved design, with marketing accounting for a smaller proportion (contacting bloggers, researching and analyzing competitors, managing social media, and collaborating with outsourced vendors). If you want to pursue a more specialized marketing path without working with design software, you can look for a role with more clearly defined responsibilities.

Cons

1. Overtime is not required, but tasks must be completed (in other words, if you cannot finish them during regular hours, you are expected to work overtime on your own, without overtime pay or compensatory leave).

2. If you do not commute by public transportation, you can park a motorcycle in the office building in the park (a monthly parking fee is required), or you will need to park along the surrounding streets.

3. Except for sales staff, all office-based employees take turns serving as the duty person each week. The duty person that week must make coffee for the general manager (if the general manager is in the office), send emails, clean the environment, and so on.
