1. Supervisors often tell you just before leaving work on Friday that the boss wants you to report on a project at a Monday morning meeting. They also tell you how to do it, but at the meeting it turns out to be completely different from what the boss wanted. Then the supervisor turns around and throws you under the bus, saying it was your fault.
2. The boss’s two sons work at the company. Their abilities still need to be developed, yet they often override professional judgment when giving orders, and shift the blame when something goes wrong.
3. When laying off employees, the company does not proactively provide termination certificates or severance pay, saying that the company has no such policy.
4. Employees are told to deceive vendors about budgets and construction plans.
The company is frugal and manages its finances carefully.
