Read the community guidelinesRegardless of what job you apply for, the boss will gradually give you more work. If the boss sees that you are doing a good job, they will also give you a raise.
You will have opportunities to learn all kinds of things, and everyone is given several chances to make mistakes in the boss’s eyes.
Overtime and compensatory leave are generally not made difficult.
The promised 14 months of annual salary is genuinely provided.
The boss considers themselves to be fair and focused on the matter rather than the person.
Cons
The company as a whole lacks good planning. You are essentially there to work for the boss, and the boss is extremely stingy when it comes to job titles (perhaps they think a small company does not need many titles). The boss says that everyone is family, but in practice, I felt like I was just there to work for a paycheck. Once you no longer have value to the company, or express your intention to resign, there is not much more to say.
If you are applying for a sales position, they will verbally say that everything will comply with the Labor Standards Act. Unfortunately, the management system cannot keep up, or the boss simply lacks the ability to establish what could be called a management system. Some time ago, the company was inspected by the labor authorities and found not to have a clock-in system; a clock-in system was only introduced after they were fined.
The boss is the sales manager themselves, but often has other people do the work that the sales manager should be doing. After all, they are the company owner and do not have time to handle so many tasks.
The boss really likes asking about personal matters. From the interview onward, they will ask about your entire family background, and whenever you request leave, they will definitely ask what you are going to do. They occasionally make off-color jokes; some people like it, while others do not.
The above is all based on my personal experience.
The interviewer stated that a year-end bonus of two months is guaranteed, with bonuses awarded based on performance reviews.
The job posting stated online that the salary was negotiable, but in reality it was less than NT$40,000.
