Cons

At the beginning of the interview, they said everything would comply with the Labor Standards Act... I gave up other companies that also offered decent benefits and joined this company.

But once six months had passed, they told us that our company's method of calculating annual leave was different from other companies'.

Even if you joined on February 3, 2021, you still wouldn't have seven days of annual leave on February 3, 2022.

You would have to wait until January 1, 2023, but clearly you could have 10 days of annual leave on February 4, 2023~

I told the company that this did not comply with the Labor Standards Act and was different from what they had said during the interview. Wouldn't this count as deception or fraud?

After tricking you into joining and wasting a huge amount of my time, they only tell you at the end that it is the “company policy.” Sorry about that....???????????

Not long afterward, the company laid you off due to workforce reductions, then opened a position in another department???

If you want to join this company, think it over again and again. No matter what they said during your interview, if you don't comply, they will lay you off...

No matter how long you have worked or how hard you have worked, in the end they will lay you off for one utterly ridiculous reason.

There is really no need to waste your time at a company like this. Your precious youth will only be consumed here...

Then you realize that you have not learned anything at all.....and your youth has passed...

Moreover, if what a company ultimately gives you is different from the conditions it offered at the beginning,

and it goes back on its word, what can you possibly gain from this company?

And annual leave is the most basic benefit. The difference is less than 1,000 or 2,000 dollars a year, yet the company still refuses to give it to you.

They even quibble with you over it... So you can imagine that after joining, you should not expect to receive any benefits either.

Everyone works hard to earn money and support themselves and their families.

If the company is going to nickel-and-dime you over even these most basic things.... then there is no need to work hard for this company, right?
