Pros

1. Free coffee? (Actually, a bunch of companies offer that too 😂)

2. At first, you didn't have to clock in, but later they said they would check the cameras, so this advantage was gone too~ (Of course, you should be punctual for work anyway, but since there really weren't any advantages, I had to force one in 😂)

Cons

1. If you're a rookie in real estate, basically, no one will teach you much. You have to learn everything yourself, so don't expect the company to teach you anything. Your coworkers are actually more capable of teaching you professional knowledge. It makes you wonder whether the company has really ever handled any projects. (In reality, it seems you really can't find anything even after Googling.)

2. The company will promise that you'll get a raise after passing your probationary period, but they won't say how much, and it won't be specified in the contract either. They'll even tell your coworkers, “You're working harder than the other person, so you'll get a bigger raise,” only for you to compare notes with your coworker and discover that the company told them exactly the same thing. But once the probationary period is over, it all comes to nothing~ Then, when you ask the company whether there was supposed to be a raise, all you get is a scolding. If they really can't offer that salary, they don't have to make promises like this to employees—they can just say so directly. There's no need to waste each other's time!

3. There were two occasions when a company supervisor said after work that they wanted to talk to me. The first time was around 10 p.m. They said they needed to talk to me and came directly to the downstairs area of my home. I thought it was something important, but it turned out they had opened the wrong package 🙄️. The second time, they demanded that I return to the office after work. Almost everyone had already left the office by then, and it was honestly pretty frightening, so I refused. But the supervisor kept saying that we had arranged it long ago. In fact, there had been no arrangement at all. I have Line chat records confirming all of the above; I didn't make any of this up~

Basically, lasting six months after joining would already be pretty impressive 😌 I personally worked there from April until around August or September. I was so exhausted. There are still many other things that I personally found absurd, but other coworkers may come forward to talk about them, so I won't elaborate. Anyway, haha.

Cons

The company is extremely strange and has no system whatsoever. The boss likes to come into the office around 11:40, ask about your progress, and say things they repeat every day, making it impossible for you to take your lunch break. They also like to come into the office 15 minutes before closing time and then keep you there for another hour before letting you leave! They even go to the area beneath your home at nine or ten at night to tell you things that are completely unimportant. It is genuinely frightening for a woman in her twenties…

During the first three months, they constantly brought up the probation period and threatened you by saying, “Who knows whether you’ll pass probation~” They said your salary would be increased after you passed probation, but when probation ended, there was no raise. When we asked about it, the deputy manager exploded in anger and asked us, “Did you sign a contract?” How funny—a deputy manager in the development department who had never done development work apparently thought that urban renewal and unsafe-building redevelopment projects could be signed into contracts in a short time ^_< If you think a contract has to be signed before giving a raise, then don’t keep using these things to boast about it in the first place!

Oh right, the deputy manager and general manager are married, but the general manager tells outsiders that they are single~ They tell their employees not to live with their boyfriends and not to spend time on their boyfriends~ The people they recruited at the time were all young and had only recently entered the workforce. They even told colleagues in the engineering department, “The girls are very young and easy to fool :)” They also like to brag that the company has projects in Taipei and Banqiao, but little did I know that from the day I joined the company until I resigned, I searched online every day for information about Fenglong Construction, and all I found were court judgments ^^ There were no other projects at all.

There are many more things; I’ll add them if I think of them~
