The boss’s grandmother doesn’t get along with the manager’s son.
The company also doesn’t provide year-end bonuses.
I applied for a purchasing assistant position, but only after joining did I find out that the previous employee had left to have a child. The entire purchasing function was being handled by just one person.
Purchasing is divided into domestic and international procurement.
However, the boss’s grandmother looks down on international procurement and thinks domestic procurement is good enough.
She looks down on people and is also very rude.
She acts just like an obnoxious customer at a traditional market.
She is rude when speaking and constantly belittles people. She acts as if she is the smartest person in the world.
When you want to eat lunch and rest quietly, she keeps calling you to the first floor and disturbing your break.
She thinks that turning on the lights and air conditioning in the second-floor office area is a waste of money.
It’s a family business. Grandma, please leave already—bye-bye.
Haven't felt any yet
The family-owned business wants to transform,
but the female owner (in her 70s) and the manager (her son) have conflicting ideas.
The female owner is extremely difficult to deal with and targets people rather than issues.
After only a few days of work, if she takes a dislike to you, she will directly tell you not to come back.
The salary offered also violates the Labor Standards Act.
Anyone with sense doesn't need to waste time letting themselves be exploited.
Store staff:
Monday to Friday
Morning shift: 7:00 to 16:00
Evening shift: 10:00 to 19:00
Saturday shifts from 9:45 to 18:00 (you can take one weekday off)
Lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00
If you’re not hungry during the evening shift, you can eat later
During the two-week probation period, the hourly wage is 150
Monthly salary: 25,000 for the first month (before deductions for labor and health insurance)
After the second month, once you know more tasks, you’ll receive an additional 3,000
Everything they say is inconsistent. During the probation period, they told you to clock out at around 50-something minutes past the hour, but in the end, if you worked 59 hours and 53 minutes, they only paid you for 59 hours. They say work starts at 8:00, so if you arrive early, that’s your business—they still only start counting from 8:00. Yet they say they calculate everything by the minute...
You can only eat lunch from 12:00 to 13:00. There are very few convenient food options nearby, and the worst part is that you have to work while eating, because customers still come in, ask questions, and call, and you don’t get paid for that time. Sometimes you can’t even eat!
After a few months, they required you to arrive at work 10 to 15 minutes early instead of arriving at around 50-something minutes past the hour... I thought they said arriving early was your own business?
You almost never get off work on time. You can only close the store or do the accounting once the scheduled time arrives. At work, they only keep yelling at you or saying things like “over there, over there.” Excuse me, you’re a new employee—how are you supposed to know what they mean?
Even after six months, they still didn’t raise my pay. They find fault with everything you do....
The senior coworker (supervisor) sighs and glares at you more than five times every day... Otherwise, they roll their eyes at you or pretend not to hear you speaking.
I really think everyone should just not even consider coming to work here.
And there’s so much more that I’m too lazy to talk about.
