Before the interview, I had already explained over the phone that I had no relevant work experience and was not a graduate of a related department. They still said I could come for an interview and that there would be a computer test on-site. However, during the interview, a fair-skinned woman with a sour expression and an unhappy demeanor barely said a few words before leaving, saying that I would take the computer test later.
Later, another woman came in and said that the relevant supervisor had gone to a construction site, so the computer test would have to be rescheduled. She first told me about the company’s policies. Based on my past experience, I am relatively good at reading people’s expressions, so I could tell that she was just brushing me off and lying. I directly said, “Your company feels that I’m not suitable, right?”
The other person smiled awkwardly and replied that the HR staff member from earlier felt I had no relevant experience and therefore thought I was unsuitable.
So? Then everything discussed over the phone at the beginning was pointless. Why ask me to come for an interview? It wasted the job seeker’s time and gas money. They were even too lazy to let me take the computer test. If I had failed the test, it would have meant that my abilities were insufficient, and I would have accepted that wholeheartedly.
What a terrible experience.
