The workplace culture at this company is extremely concerning. The boss’s expectations of employees are excessively demanding—almost as if they expect employees to be capable of doing everything. For example, in addition to basic marketing skills, employees are expected to be proficient in various software and platform operations, and even handle accounting, customer service, and other tasks on their own.
The responsibilities cover everything: negotiating with platform PMs, creating product images, listing products, processing orders and returns—employees are expected to know how to do it all.
High-pressure work environment: The boss requires employees to personally handle every detail, and everything must be documented in a work log. Even minor oversights will be called into question.
Unreasonable shifting of responsibility: The boss blames employees for every problem, especially senior male colleagues, without considering their actual capabilities or workload.
Unhealthy workplace relationships: The boss favors newcomers and treats long-term employees poorly. There is a lack of trust within the company.
Limited company resources: The company is small and has limited capital, yet employees are expected to take on an excessive workload.
