Pros

The only advantage is leaving work on time.

Cons

I was hired as an assembly worker at the Dacun plant. I don't know the situation on the other lines; I'm only describing what I experienced, for reference only.

1. If you are assigned to the right side of Line A, Processes 3–6, congratulations—you've landed a terrible job. One person has to handle four tasks, three of which require considerable technical skill. You need a lot of hand strength, excellent dexterity, and speed; there are also a great many tedious steps. Everyone there says it is the easiest station, but don't believe them.

2. I reported for work on January 15, but I wasn't called to the line for training until the afternoon of January 17. Then I encountered a Miss Chen who was extremely impatient when teaching, spoke harshly and loudly, and was very fierce. Yes, I'm not smart, but I shouldn't have been yelled at like that. Who would randomly have used a screwdriver before? Besides, not everyone has strong hands and wrists. I'm not being picky about the work; the process design really has serious problems, and they also have very little patience with new employees.

3. Here's the funniest part: I had only worked at that station for two days when my supervisor decided I was unsuitable and told me to leave. At first, they even asked me to sign a resignation form and told me to resign voluntarily. If I hadn't pointed out that the Labor Standards Act does not provide for such a probationary period, and insisted on not signing the resignation form and requested an involuntary termination, I wouldn't have been able to leave. Only then, reluctantly, did accounting issue the involuntary termination paperwork. In short, my work experience was terrible.
