More about how to appease the manager’s emotions
Workplace PUA is severe
Emotional blackmail also occurs
The emotions are extremely unstable, and you have to deal with the manager’s negative emotions
I heard that it has now become Chengyu Marketing
It’s the same problem
The work atmosphere is great, and communication between supervisors and colleagues is good. Everyone is very willing to help one another.
Supervisors are also very willing to teach. Even when something isn’t done well, they don’t scold you; instead, they offer support and feedback through encouragement and suggestions.
There is no need to clock in or out when arriving at or leaving work, so there’s no need to worry about being late and having points deducted or similar issues.
Because how busy a project is depends on the client, basically everyone works overtime every day (past 6:00 p.m.), and there is no overtime pay.
However, the start time is very flexible. Most people arrive at the office between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m., so it feels acceptable.
I felt respected during the interview. There were two interview rounds, but the process took nearly a month and required quite a bit of time.
The office is right by a metro station exit, in central Taipei, so it is quite convenient.
There is no clocking in or out (a bad habit of marketing companies?), so it is very easy to work overtime. Naturally, without clocking in or out, there is no overtime pay. On my first day, I did not leave until 7:30 p.m. (the scheduled end time was 6:00 p.m.).
People rarely take lunch breaks, which makes it difficult for you to get a proper rest as well (because there are still conversations, typing sounds, and so on).
Atmosphere: Basically, every day consists of constantly posting content and building up follower counts. (You have to manage more than a dozen social media pages, and post every day.) Therefore, unless you are genuinely interested in these topics or are able to treat yourself like an actor, it can be quite difficult to endure. You also rarely hear people greeting each other when arriving at or leaving work, so the atmosphere always feels rather cold.
I will not rate this as either good or bad, because this is mainly due to my not being suited to marketing companies. Basically, if you value leaving work on time and having time for your own private life outside of work, you should think carefully before considering this type of company.
