Pros

I really can’t think of any—perhaps it’s fairly close to my home, and you might be able to sample the store’s products while working 🤔

Cons

A very small company. The CEO and the owner’s wife would probably be better off simply running the business together as a two-person operation—that seems to be their model. I remember sending an English résumé by email, but after a month there was still no response. I sent it a second time before finally receiving an interview call from the owner’s wife. I asked whether she had received the first email, and she actually replied, “Because we were too busy, we didn’t respond.” I also searched related posts on the interview board and saw similar accounts. With this kind of attitude, does your company actually want to hire people?

I urge all job seekers: never blindly trust the compensation and benefits a company claims to offer. Working here involves not only a complete lack of systems, but also no protection. When I first started, I wasn’t even asked to sign an employment contract. Looking back, perhaps you didn’t trust me and thought this would make it easier to quickly dismiss people deemed unsuitable (?) I could only accept it XD. For an intern, the so-called “training” consisted of spending just 2–3 hours verbally explaining the job duties and then demanding that I immediately get up to speed; if I worked slowly or made mistakes, I was fired. Then they turned around and complained that employees lacked experience and couldn’t do the job well? Do you really think you can hire someone highly capable for the wages of a part-time worker? I still don’t understand it. Fortunately, it appears that your company no longer dares to post similar positions. Please don’t hurt anyone else in the future. They also kept urging people not to get COVID vaccines. During the days I worked there, they spent at least 1–2 hours every day telling me how dangerous the vaccines were and that they absolutely would not get vaccinated… etc. (As a result, I couldn’t finish my work and had to leave late 🫠) I have now received all three doses. How are things on your end? After experiencing several waves of the pandemic this year, have you and your family still not received even a single dose—and are you still proud of it ^_^?

Although this job-search experience was unpleasant, fortunately it gave me the opportunity to join a large company with good benefits that was willing to invest real time in training its employees. Several months have passed, and I originally had no intention of pursuing the matter further, but I realized that I still couldn’t swallow my anger and had to let people considering an interview know 🤣 You really need to be careful! When I first entered the workforce, I approached job hunting with an open mind, thinking that it couldn’t hurt to try companies of all sizes. But after suffering a loss in silence and having nowhere to turn for help, I deeply regretted it. I therefore came to understand that insisting on quality and treating customers kindly does not necessarily mean that a company will treat its employees well. Everyone, please think carefully before proceeding.
