Pros

IT department, level 5

Salary:

Base monthly salary of 55K, guaranteed 14 months, plus an additional 3–5K per month, and an annual bonus paid in July.

There are very few openings in the IT department, so don’t get your hopes up—you may be disappointed. The annual compensation is approximately 17 months’ worth.

Stable working hours: start at 8 a.m. and leave a little after 5 p.m. Basically, there is very little overtime.

Organization:

The IT department is currently divided into SA (System Analysts) and SD (code farmers/developers).

Basically, new hires start as SDs. The valuable positions are the SA roles. In about three years, I have only seen one person transfer to SA.

On the other hand, the SD role is very straightforward: follow instructions and complete tasks. As long as you consistently deliver what is needed, it is a stable environment suitable for taking it easy.

Another thing is that you have to participate in on-call rotations.

Everyone gets along well with one another. Basically, frontline employees do not encounter political issues, and the managers are generally pretty good.

Cons

It’s okay, but don’t join the wrong department, lol.
