I carefully prepared a portfolio of representative work to bring to the interview, but the boss offered far too little despite praising my work endlessly.
She even asked me to make her a photocopy.
Is this some kind of joke? Why should I give you a free copy of my intellectual property when you aren’t even hiring me—is this a free-rider scheme?
