Applied for a financial advisor position, but after being hired, was asked to work as a teller first and transfer to the position later.
I applied for an IT position. When I arrived at the Federation Building, the section chief from the IT department came out to greet me. I first filled out some basic information and took a test on computer fundamentals.
After the test, the section chief and another supervisor who appeared to be senior to the section chief interviewed me. The interview atmosphere was pretty good. They asked me to introduce myself first, then explained the company environment. They also invited me to ask questions, and I was able to do so at that time. The interview atmosphere was quite relaxed, and the section chief was very nice.
They mentioned that the salary would not be as high as requested. If you have never worked in the banking industry, even with work experience, your starting salary will be calculated from the university graduate starting rate.
I suppose you could say the hiring manager was talkative....
They completely ignored my salary requirements, with a gap of nearly 20,000. Only after I arrived did they say, “Since the difference between us is so large, you probably wouldn’t consider it, would you?”
Managers who don’t value their employees... exceptionally good at squeezing employees dry... turnover is world-class high....
