1. During the phone invitation to the interview, they said they would email the interview location. However, there was no reply by the day of the interview, and they did not respond to my email either. I could only go to the workplace listed on the website where the job vacancy was posted.
2. During the interview, they said that frequent overtime would be required, with no overtime pay—only compensatory leave. Upon resignation, the compensatory leave could be exchanged for money. This is completely in violation of the Labor Standards Act.
3. I guess they may have avoided turning on the air conditioning to save money. I was sweating all over while waiting for and attending the interview.
Throughout the interview, I got the feeling that the person hired for this position would have to handle all kinds of miscellaneous tasks and would need to be an all-rounder willing to work excessive overtime.
With two years of work experience, I asked for NT$28,000, and the interviewer looked troubled. The above is my experience interviewing for an arts administration position in Taichung.
There are many overtime hours, which can be exchanged for compensatory leave or converted into money upon resignation.
In the two months before the auction, you will work excessive overtime, and taking leave is prohibited for two months. After it ends, if you want to take compensatory leave, the boss will try to stop you.
The boss has absolutely no logic, speaks incoherently, and has poor emotional intelligence.
The supervisor is all talk and only knows how to curry favor with the boss.
In any case, the entire company, from top to bottom, is extremely self-centered.
