1. The boss was late for the interview he had scheduled himself.
2. He crumpled someone else’s résumé into a ball almost immediately after taking it.
3. After asking three interview questions, he started to lose his temper.
I sat there being berated by him for nearly 3–5 minutes.
The pay is low enough, but on top of that, you only get every other week off.
The boss may have bipolar disorder.
I hope everyone will carefully evaluate the situation before going.

1. I was interviewed standing up, while the boss lectured me like a child for nearly an hour (it was nothing like an interview at all).
2. The salary did not match the amount listed on the recruitment website. If you were attracted by the salary, do not go to the interview (the recruitment website stated NT$35,000–40,000, but the boss asked me how much salary I wanted and told me to name my price).
I said: NT$35,000.
The boss replied: Impossible!!
Me: .......?????
3. The working hours also did not match what was written on the recruitment website. The boss bluntly said that leaving work on time was impossible!!
4. As other job seekers have said, the boss loses his temper very easily. He started lecturing me after I asked one question, and I had no chance to respond at all.
5. The boss complained about previous employees and became extremely agitated. I was startled by him throughout the interview.
6. Those going for an interview should take note: the boss will criticize you for leaving your previous job, criticize every answer you give, criticize your views, and criticize your attitude.
7. The atmosphere in the office was very strange. The employees all seemed to work like robots; presumably, they had been worn down into that state.
8. Job seekers should really trust the advice provided by Tianyan Tong. Don’t make the same mistake I did by refusing to believe it.

As soon as I walked in, the boss immediately asked, “What can you do to help with the work?”
I was asked that before I had even sat down. Honestly, it was very rude.
After that, he just kept firing questions at me and was extremely impolite.
After asking a bunch of questions, he brought out a magazine that he had flipped through so much it was falling apart—the cover had even come off.
He started criticizing you and lecturing you while pointing at the parts he had marked.
After giving me a thorough scolding, he even asked whether I wanted to come work there and when I could start.
I felt so uncomfortable just during the interview that I decided not to show up for work.
Honestly, I was really angry. I originally thought that since the reviews here were already so old, perhaps the boss had changed.
But no—the boss yelled at me for about 20 minutes after I went in.
I was almost furious enough to take my résumé and walk out.
The interview is divided into two rounds.
After the first interview, the boss prepares a large pile of assignments for you to complete. They are all highly specialized and include many difficult math problems—even problems that math teachers would not be able to solve @@ This is just for an assistant position!! Then, starting with the second interview, the boss criticizes and insults your certifications and alma mater in all sorts of ways! He says, “I have used students who graduated from National Taiwan University before; they were really useful!” Then he looks down on you in all kinds of ways because you graduated from an ordinary university, unlike the people sitting in front of you. After humiliating you for a while, he even insults your parents because you cannot answer difficult professional questions. On my first day at work, the boss had apparently gone somewhere and brought back a pile of dirty, slightly damaged water pillows for us to clean and then sell to customers. So the newcomer was made to kneel by the roadside and clean them alone. The senior employees all said, “I’ll come help you later; I’m busy for a moment,” but of course no one came to help with the unpleasant task in the end. The boss gives people the impression that he has very high standards, but on the first day of work, an employee was nearly half an hour late.... So my impression is that this is a hypocritical work environment with no sense of unity! I strongly advise applying only if you really, really like this job.
The interviewer directly said that newcomers are there to be educated, and after being educated, they will treat him as a benefactor and thank him. Anyone coming to the interview was clearly a loser; he did not even look at the portfolio, making me suspect that he might not even know what this job involves. The job requirements said “unrestricted thinking” and “extremely strong stress tolerance,” which is truly ironic—basically, he is looking for a slave who will not contradict him. He also seems to strongly believe in the articles by successful people in a certain weekly magazine, and even marks the key points with a highlighter in the weekly magazine at the workplace. In the end, after deductions here and there, the salary is only slightly higher than part-time work—that is apparently all the emotional punching bag is worth.
