Read the community guidelinesA veterinary assistant in New Taipei committed suicide. Do you think this kind of work environment is worth staying in?
There is infighting and bullying by veterinarians, and regional supervisors will make trouble for you. If the facility suspends slaughter operations, you may also be forced to use your own compensatory leave to take time off; in some regions, you have to take personal leave instead (and personal leave is unpaid), which is effectively taking advantage of employees. When you join, they do not mention that you will have to work night shifts, then ask you to sign a form agreeing to schedule changes, which requires you to work night shifts. Not only do you have to work night shifts, you also have to provide support in other regions (with no transportation allowance; you must cover fuel costs and meals during rest periods yourself), which is effectively exploiting workers. They claim that their shareholders are government agencies, but there are no benefits; the exploitation is actually worse than in government agencies. Think carefully before joining.
