Pros

The company environment is good

The female employees are pretty

Cons

I went for an interview but didn't receive an interview notification; they only called, which was a bit impolite.

Pros

None at all.

Cons

1. The environment looks large, but the facilities are really inadequate.

2. The benefits are average.

3. Too much time is spent filling out forms, and some questions are unrelated to the job. For example, one question was something like: “What is the most negative thing you have ever experienced?” I wrote that I preferred not to answer. The interviewer actually asked why I didn’t write anything. Why is it any of your business whether I want to talk about negative experiences? There were far too many ridiculous questions. I really regret agreeing to the interview and wasting so much time writing this meaningless stuff.

4. I would not really recommend a company like this. The interviewer scrutinized the interviewee, looking them up and down, which was actually very uncomfortable.

5. When discussing salary, they could not provide a definite figure either, which felt terrible.

Pros

None

Cons

During the interview, you will be asked to fill out a form (one sheet, double-sided), and they will investigate your past to evaluate you as a person. If there are some unfavorable comments about you in the past, it may affect the position you are applying for.

Pros

1. The supervisors and colleagues are all quite nice.

2. Occasional snacks or clearance deals on good products.

Cons

1. Less than two months after joining, I was inexplicably told that the department would be eliminated (while they claimed it was being expanded). It took more than three months to decide on the layoff process (or offer the option of becoming a shift-based floor manager). At one point, they even asked the employee to state the layoff date first and then "push back" the resignation date based on seniority.

2. The final layoff date was set just before the first wave of the shopping festival began, which gives the impression that employees were used until they were no longer needed.

3. "In their dreams," they initially refused to pay severance, simply because HR was afraid of being blamed by the boss. It was only paid after an actual report was filed.

3. Very strangely, the computer had still not been repaired and returned even after more than a month, by the time I left.

4. Many tasks were ultimately passed on to the sales staff (辛苦了).

5. HR (and its supervisors) were particularly evasive at this time. For example, a minute earlier on the phone, they would cheerfully say, "Feel free to ask anything," but immediately after hanging up, they would report it to the department supervisor.

6. The meal subsidy is calculated in points: 70 per meal. Unused points reset to zero each month, and they can only be used at the employee cafeteria (the minimum-priced meal is $75, and it is not available every day; the average meal costs at least $90–150 or more).

Pros

1. The office environment is pretty good; the air conditioning is great. It would be even better if there were no leaks!

2. Complies with the Labor Standards Act (everything required is provided; overtime can be exchanged for compensatory leave or pay)

3. Meal allowance provided

4. Colleagues are nice

5. A great place to gain experience, suitable for newcomers

6. Good salary

Cons

1. Supervisor J loves impractical flights of fancy and is ineffective. They do not explain things clearly, love changing drafts at the last minute, and are domineering and lacking in empathy.

2. There are too many projects, so overtime is common—an average of 1.5–2 hours of overtime per day.

3. Supervisor W’s ability to handle things is like that of a headless fly. They like asking questions off the cuff without thinking things through and lack the ability to integrate information. Instead of holding a book club every week, it would be more practical to first learn how to prepare reports using Excel.

4. The turnover rate is high. The salary can retain people temporarily, but it cannot win their hearts.

Pros

1. The HR staff were friendly.

2. The restroom was clean.

Cons

1. Before the interview, I had to fill out personal information and answer written-test questions. There were quite a lot of questions, and I was not sure whether they were truly useful or necessary as references.

2. The written test was scheduled to take an hour and a half, which was too long. After finishing, I waited for nearly half an hour. When I asked HR, I was told that the manager was currently in a meeting and would not be able to come over until half an hour later. I was asked to check whether there was anything I needed to add to my answers.

3. The manager’s scheduled meeting end time had already passed, but I waited another 20 to 30 minutes. I went to ask HR again, and HR asked, “I’ve notified the manager. Is something wrong?” I had no choice but to use the restroom and continue waiting.

4. The manager finally arrived very late and asked only a few simple interview questions. It felt as though they were not really interested in getting to know me. The information I had just filled out was barely discussed. After such a long wait, the manager simply chatted with me for a couple of minutes and then left?!

5. In my personal opinion, during the conversation, the manager did not seem very concerned about what I had to say. They focused mainly on their own opinions and expressed them quite strongly.

The above is my personal experience, provided as a reference for anyone planning to attend an interview.
