Pros

A great place for the mother of a child with disabilities to shine.

Cons

She shines when it comes to the big shots—but what happened to the promised Matsusaka pork? How could you take advantage of the pandemic to stay home and go on an eating-and-drinking vacation?

Pros

1. Flexible working hours; you can leave as long as you have worked a full 8 hours.

2. There is absolutely no management system, so it is very free.

3. Most colleagues are fairly easy to get along with.

4. Salaries are paid on time.

5. The office building is clean.

Cons

I suspect the only positive review was posted to whitewash the company. In reality, the outrageous things that happen here are definitely even more remarkable than anything previous reviewers have mentioned.

The biggest problem with the entire company is the owner and senior management (two people in total: the owner and one senior executive). Ever since the current owner took over several years ago, the company has been in complete chaos. The current owner is a businessperson who has handled multiple different companies in the past, but has absolutely no understanding of management. It is very obvious that the owner's only concern is getting the company listed. The company has been around for more than 50 years, yet anyone who stays for more than two years is now considered a senior employee—the scale of the problem is obvious.

1. The owner is extremely disrespectful toward people. He asks questions but does not listen to the answers and makes decisions entirely according to his emotions. Constantly changing his mind is normal. In addition, gender seems to matter when joining the company: the owner's attitude toward women (provided they are attractive) is completely different.

2. You could be fired at any time, although severance pay will be provided. It depends on the owner's mood, so the job is extremely unstable.

3. I have heard that the company has now definitely decided to go public. It feels as though they are looking for the next buyer to take over, so things might improve after a change of ownership—but the company could also collapse entirely. Think carefully before joining.

4. Because the owner fires people whenever he is unhappy, is an outsider who insists on directing experts, and does not respect professional expertise, the turnover rate is frighteningly high. Many highly paid professional managers and executives previously recruited from elsewhere could not tolerate the owner. They either fell out with him directly or quickly left on their own. In practice, the company currently has no department heads at all.

5. There is no overtime pay (this is disclosed in advance). Salary adjustments are supposedly based on performance, but there are essentially no managers, so for ordinary employees, a raise is almost impossible.

6. In one department, when one person succeeds, everyone connected to them benefits. The department makes mistakes constantly and always provides customers and sales staff with incorrect information, yet no one investigates even after the issues are reported. That department does not have to bear any responsibility or face customers, simply because it has a good manager. The company has even provided the department with an entire floor of office space.

7. The favored person has no particular work-related skills, but can appease the owner. In practice, the position is essentially that of general manager, with responsibility for managing everything. However, because this person does not know how, they also do not know how to manage anything, resulting in internal chaos throughout the company.

8. The relationship between the owner and senior management is disgusting, and there are also suspicious financial dealings between them. The company's finance department discovered them and raised the issue. Only join if you can genuinely stomach this.

9. The organizational structure is unbelievably ridiculous and changes frequently. It is hard to imagine that this is a once-famous company with factories in mainland China and an office in Taiwan.

10. Because the turnover rate is extremely high, senior management does not care about handovers. Many former employees deleted data out of dissatisfaction, so the employees who take over their work suffer greatly.

11. Since turnover is so high and employees generally have little tenure, there is virtually no training. You have to figure everything out by asking around.

12. The factory side is extremely overbearing because of the owner's inaction and inability to manage. You have to be extremely deferential when communicating with the mainland factory. Factory personnel may even call Taiwan directly to berate people whenever they are unhappy. Delivery schedules are chaotic, and when you ask questions, they often either claim not to know anything or brush you off.

13. Work assignments are extremely unreasonable. It feels as though whoever performs well is worked to death without receiving a raise. At this company, you have to know how to stay invisible and put on the appearance of being ready to quit at any moment; otherwise, you will be given more work.

In short, it is hard to imagine that a company could be this chaotic. I have only mentioned some of the things I genuinely find difficult to accept; there are many more absurd incidents and minor issues that I will not detail. To be fair, if you simply want to collect a paycheck, do not seek advancement, and can tolerate all of the bizarre situations described above, this company may still be worth considering.

Pros

The hiring manager was very friendly, and the introduction to the position was also very well organized.

The job responsibilities are clear, and there is generally little need to work overtime.

Cons

The company does not pay overtime. (Fortunately, there is generally little need to work overtime.)

I don't know whether the previous comments count as evidence that a culture of anonymous denunciations is prevalent, but fortunately, it feels like they were all written by the same person, so it probably doesn't qualify as a culture yet.

Pros

The work mainly involves overseas business projects for brand and OEM customers. You can really learn a great deal by taking a product from OEM production through to completion. I actually quite recommend that recent graduates come and get some hands-on experience. Colleagues who take their work seriously are generally easy to get along with, but you need to be proactive and take the initiative in many areas. What you learn really becomes part of your own professional expertise.

Cons

The salary is worse than in traditional industries, and it is hard to see what the benefits are. The year-end bonus is one month’s salary, and then there is a year-end banquet raffle?

Also, the reviews on Tiandyan really need to be taken with a grain of salt; what previous employees said is only the tip of the iceberg.

Pros

None, except that the office building is new.

Cons

1. The authoritarian atmosphere is strong, and you must be on call at all times, including holidays.

2. There is no overtime pay, but everyone works until at least 8 p.m. every day. Everyone is just putting on a show for the boss.

3. The boss has extremely little respect for employees. The Singaporean American frequently makes American-style jokes that are supposedly humorous but make people uncomfortable.

4. There are few people but a lot of work, yet the manager still thinks there are too many employees.

5. Frequent business trips to mainland China are required, and you may be assigned to work there on a long-term basis at any time.

6. After working there for two years, you are already considered senior. Turnover is quite high.

7. You work the overtime hours typical of the tech industry, but the year-end bonus is only two months’ salary—the kind of amount that traditional industries would consider rock-bottom.

8. There is no business-trip allowance; the boss thinks it is merely working from a different location.

9. There are many relatives and favorites of the boss; most people in upper management are the boss’s own people.

10. New hires are treated as disposable chopsticks; five new employees left within one month.

Conclusion: If you have a family or want to have a life of your own, do not try it lightly.

It feels like there aren't any...

Cons

Employees dispatched to mainland China are not covered by labor or health insurance. The boss does not seem to respect people very much and does not like Taiwanese employees taking leave to return to Taiwan. It feels like communication is not very easy. Even before starting work, you can already sense an atmosphere of being enslaved—a feeling that although he pays, he does not care about his employees' well-being, along with a dictatorial atmosphere. Not recommended.

Pros

1. Convenient transportation, a modern office building, strict access control, and a bright, clean work environment.

2. The challenge of developing new customers

3. The company has its own brand

Cons

1. The job description on 104 was unclear and did not mention that business travel to mainland China would be required. In fact, since the carbon fiber manufacturing plant is in mainland China, frequent travel there is necessary to check on customers’ samples and mass-production status.

2. The job description did not clearly explain that the overseas sales position currently requires a strong focus on developing new customers rather than managing existing customers.

3. About 80% of the business is still focused on contract manufacturing for bicycles, with no move toward promoting the company’s own brand.
