I was a new employee who joined the company in a certain year. I contacted a bunch of vendors and prepared each company’s information for a certain vice president, then personally handed it to her. She had a displeased expression. I thought I would discuss the situation I had encountered and the points to note for the report with her, but she said she would look it over herself first. She herself only came to the office once every three days or so, and then said that I had not proactively sought her out for discussion. Not long after that, within two days, HR moved to dismiss me, saying that I did not meet the company’s expectations. They also refused to provide a certificate of involuntary separation; I had to invoke the relevant regulations before they reluctantly issued one. They also asked me to sign an agreement saying that I could not pursue severance pay (although the severance pay was not much money). They delayed canceling my labor and health insurance enrollment for more than a month. HR said that enrollment and cancellation were handled by the vice president. This was the first time I had encountered an HR department that did not even know how to enroll or unenroll employees.

The office was also on B3. The air quality was poor enough, but mobile reception was unavailable too—at best, Asia Pacific Telecom worked; otherwise, you had to connect to Wi-Fi.

Overall, it is a very poor company.
