I was invited to an interview even though my résumé and portfolio clearly stated that I did not have a complete branding project. The interviewer was a man who appeared to be in his thirties or forties. As soon as I entered, he asked me to introduce myself, but he did not introduce himself at all. Halfway through my introduction, he interrupted me and said, “Could you talk about your work?” After looking at my work, he asked whether I had experience in brand design. I honestly told him that I did not have any “complete” brand design projects. He then coldly asked, “Do you have any other questions?” When I said no, he stood up, opened the door, and left without looking back. His attitude was astonishingly poor. As I was leaving, an older woman whose position I do not know asked me from behind, with surprise, “The interview is already over?” It appeared that the person who arranged the interview and the person conducting it were not the same. The whole experience was inexplicable. They lacked even basic workplace courtesy, so it seems that working there would probably not be much better.
