It’s a toxic working environment, especially for junior to mid-level associates. There is a significant age gap between juniors and the senior attorneys, with some of the oldest being nearly 80 years old—old enough to be your grandparents. As a junior-mid level associate, you'll find yourself at the bottom of the pyramid, handling tons of translations and other menial tasks, while the seniors hoard the core cases for themselves. Additionally, some of the secretaries only serve the senior partners and are not available to assist junior staff.
The firm offers no employee benefits, has outdated software, and does not provide overtime pay. Overall, the lack of support, respect, and modern resources makes this an unpleasant place to work. Run as fast as you can!
