Read the community guidelines1. No pay is deducted for being up to 5 minutes late
2. Lunch boxes are provided
3. Most colleagues are quite easy to get along with
It is a traditional family-owned business.
1. Everyone has to take turns cleaning the kitchen and bathroom
2. There is no sick leave; even when you are sick, you have to take personal leave, and it does not count toward perfect attendance
3. If the boss’s wife likes you, you have a chance of getting promoted and receiving a raise. If she does not like you, you will only get more work and will never receive a raise. Also, leaving work exactly on time may prompt the boss’s wife to check in on you
4. There are no bonuses for the three traditional festivals, and the year-end bonus can only be reduced, not increased
5. There is no overtime pay; the company operates under a responsibility-based work system
6. I really do not recommend joining
You can be late to work without having your pay deducted.
Lunch boxes are provided.
※Family-owned business
1. Regardless of what type of leave you take, your pay will always be deducted as if you had taken personal leave.
2. You will always have only 7 days of annual leave, and even those days are practically unusable (the company does not allow you to take annual leave; you can only request personal leave instead). You will not receive payment for your annual leave until Chinese New Year, and it is only 7,000. If your monthly salary is over 30,000, the deduction for taking personal leave will be greater than the amount you receive at Chinese New Year. If you resign before Chinese New Year, you will not receive the 7,000 bonus.
3. The company says that because it is small, it is not bound by the Labor Standards Act—in effect, there is no Labor Standards Act. Think carefully before taking a job here.
4. There are hardly any young people here. You can only use the job to build up your work history; you will not learn much.
5. The boss’s wife is very emotional and childish (she deliberately treats other people well in front of you to see whether that will make you work harder). Whether she likes you or not is very obvious from her attitude.
6. No holiday bonuses and hardly any benefits.
