Pros

1 Clean toilets and a decent office environment

2 A very limited selection of beauty and skincare products, but they are good

3 Colleagues are easy to get along with and all have good tempers

Cons

1 The direct female supervisor is extremely emotional and scolds people over everything. She even tells people to use their brains, along with other even harsher remarks. The assistant turnover rate is high, and one person is expected to handle multiple roles (purchasing + sales + accounting). You get shuffled around whenever something comes up and also have to deal with a neurotic, emotional female supervisor.

2 Overtime is routine, but no overtime pay is provided.

3 Do not go to the e-commerce department under any circumstances. Encountering that female supervisor will bring you nothing but bad luck. She thinks that having been there a long time gives her the right to be rude. A terrible company!

Pros

The company is located near Exit 6 of MRT Daan Station, so transportation is very convenient.

The company environment is spacious, and the equipment and facilities seem to be in good condition.

The position I interviewed for was Internet Marketing Planner.

The main responsibilities include planning and promoting online platform sales campaigns for the assigned product lines (such as department-store counter brands), promoting products, and using Facebook and LINE@ posts to drive traffic. Graphic design is handled by the company’s designers, while advertising is managed by an advertising agency. Therefore, the main focus of the role is product marketing and sales performance on e-commerce platforms.

The base salary discussed in the interview was NT$30,000. There are also performance evaluation bonuses (the interviewing manager said they are paid once every three months) and monthly sales-target bonuses. With good performance, the monthly salary should be able to exceed NT$35,000?

Cons

Each person is responsible for a different product line. Some handle department-store counter brands, while others handle hair products, so performance may be affected by differences in the existing brand recognition and advantages of each assigned product line. However, the manager said that the product lines assigned to each person would rotate, and everyone would also brainstorm together, which could alleviate this concern.

For people who enjoy focusing on online product sales and striving for strong sales performance, this job should be a good fit (and employees can purchase products at a discount). Personally, however, my preferences for marketing development lean more toward community and member relationship management, advertising promotion, and analysis, so this would not be my choice.
