Read the community guidelinesNone at all. I was scolded until I cried and quit after working for four days.
1. There are four stores in the Jingming commercial district, and you have to rotate between them. Every day, you gather at the largest one, and the owner’s wife calls to assign people to each store. It’s extremely strange.
2. A senior colleague guided me during these four days. She was very nice and told me to avoid sitting as much as possible, so I did. On the third day, I proactively helped change the models’ clothes. Of course, I was always working and talking together with the senior colleague—it’s impossible not to talk at all, right? I only sat down briefly while eating, for about half an hour. The next day (the fourth day), shortly after the store opened, the owner’s wife called through the intercom and told me to listen, then started yelling at me, asking why I was constantly chatting and sitting around. I said I wasn’t. She actually asked what my parents did for a living and whether my family was abnormal. I said it was normal and that my parents were civil servants. She said, “Exactly—if you’re not from a single-parent family, how could you turn out like this?” She was extremely discriminatory toward single-parent families! Her emotional management was a complete failure. After she yelled at me until I cried, I simply hung up, changed back into my own clothes, and left immediately. Absolutely not recommended!
3. The base salary isn’t very high—only NT$28,000. On weekdays, there are almost no customers, so business is dismal (only the largest store does fairly well).
This company was truly my nightmare. Even now, thinking about it still makes me feel deeply wronged. Strongly not recommended.
High base salary, no bonuses
An interview was arranged, but I didn’t know whether the person was the boss or the person in charge (a young man). He acted as if he had no idea why you had come, and spoke in an arrogant and impolite manner. Although the job title clearly said “online store assistant,” he kept asking in an arrogant tone whether you could do tasks such as graphic design and photography. The company had already said beforehand that it had a professional photographer. I advise anyone who wants to apply for an assistant position not to waste a trip going to the interview!
