The attitude toward people was extremely uncomfortable. Overall, the direct supervisor displayed a traditional, top-down instructive attitude. Without first understanding the interviewee’s background, they asked which field the interviewee wanted to pursue, then began questioning why the interviewee wanted to move in that direction.
- I asked how conflicts between engineers and designers would be resolved.
The other party replied: “It depends on whether the engineer needs to teach me, or the designer needs to go study on their own!”
During the interview, they complained extensively and seemed to believe that problems occurred because engineers were underqualified or lacked experience.
They completely failed to demonstrate the poise and impartiality expected of an interviewer.
They showed no respect even toward an interviewee who was not yet an employee, so it is difficult to imagine how they would treat people after they joined the company.
