The boss speaks harshly and is deliberately difficult, and really likes to interfere in decision-making, testing how well you and her work together... The advantage is that you will become extremely hardworking and resilient, and feel much happier when you move on to another company.
Capable people really are not suited to this company. There is no good benefits system. At 6 p.m., the air conditioning and lights are forcibly turned off, and the boss lives directly across the street, so she knows whenever you secretly turn on the lights. On the surface, employees are not encouraged to work overtime, but in reality, everyone works overtime every day... You can only work by the desk lamp at your workstation. Under the responsibility-based system, there is no overtime pay. If you work on holidays, you get compensatory leave, but you cannot take it on Mondays or Fridays—only Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays (the key point is that you cannot take consecutive days off; unbelievable).
If you make a typo or use too many filler words while presenting, you will be fined. The money all goes to the company’s employee welfare committee. Every month, an amount is deducted from your salary according to your rank and paid to the welfare committee. On the surface, they say that once a month they will use the committee’s money to pay for lunch on a selected day, but in reality, sometimes they only eat together once every three or four months—and they even choose a cheap stir-fry restaurant with NT$100 dishes.... When ordering, the boss forces employees to order dishes, and if what you order is not deemed acceptable, the boss publicly mocks and sarcastically ridicules you... If you think you are a newcomer who does not have much of a temper, then you are welcome to join this company.
Oh, and the managers there are ridiculously incompetent, but the boss likes people who flatter her and have no ability~
