Pros

During the interview, the supervisor demonstrated a great deal of professional knowledge.

I wanted to learn and understand more (after all, I’m interested in this industry).

When I asked questions, the interviewer answered patiently every time.

Since I had done a bit of research into mechanical principles,

when I answered his questions correctly,

the interviewer even said, “Oh, you’re pretty good—you know this stuff.”

It felt like my abilities were recognized a little.

They were also very approachable and easy to talk to.

Cons

I didn’t feel there were any drawbacks during the interview, and by the end of it I was quite certain that I wanted to join this company.

The second interview was also very quick and efficient.

Pros

A job where you can work in a very relaxed atmosphere. At lunchtime, a professional chef cooks for free, so you enjoy delicious meals every day. We also discuss cases together to enhance our expertise. The boss often takes us to continuing education opportunities and to meet clients. This makes you more aware of how much there is still to learn. It’s a work environment where you can improve quickly and grow significantly.

Cons

Everyone is too good-looking, and lunch is so delicious that it’s very easy to gain weight. (You have to exercise seriously after work, otherwise it’s hard to lose the weight.)

Pros

The interviewer may have schizophrenia.

Cons

They called me themselves to discuss the job, then told me to think it over and get back to them. After I replied, they called again and said a bunch of things about how I was definitely unsuitable—completely different from what they had said the day before. First they said it wouldn’t work if I hadn’t learned the software on my own; then they said it wouldn’t work if I had no relevant experience. The day before, they had said that knowing the software was more important and that having no relevant experience was fine. Now they’re saying that I have a different understanding of communication. Could the interviewer please learn Chinese properly before conducting interviews? You’re wasting everyone’s time by talking a load of nonsense.

Pros

None

Cons

The interviewer likes to put candidates on the spot and will keep asking professional or basic questions. You must be able to work independently, with no one to guide you.

Small company with very few employees
